Retro Jelly Sandals

I don’t think you’re ready for this jelly!

Hey guys!

Latley in the Uk it has been surprisingly sunny, this glimpse of the sun has inspired me to start looking at the spring/summer items that have been popping up in many shops. I think it’s safe to say that I already have my number one item that I really need to get my hands on, the Jelly Sandal.

I know what you are all thinking…“wow jelly sandals are back? I used to wear them as a kid…” but if you can rock any retro style shoe from your childhood then these are the perfect sandal that would suit all! I’ve found so many great varieties, which would fit any style and budget; in a range of different colours, hints of glitter, flat style ones and heeled ones, these are a big must for the spring/summer in my book!

Without a doubt I will be going out and buying some of these sandals, as I simply adore them, they are cute, will be easy to wear and I'll be able to rock my childhood memories in them again! Whats's not to love?!!

Some of the best sandals I've found so far that I love

What do you guys think of these retro shoes? Let me know in the comment box!

Paint Splatter Nail Art

Hey guys!

I’ve been so busy lately and haven’t had chance to blog to you, so I thought I'd treat you to a nail art design that I adore!
As you may know I am a massive nail varnish junkie, wearing polish at any given time. I also love to try out nail art designs on my nails at home (when I have a spare few minutes) recently I have been creating a paint splatter effect.
This is a really fun and easy design, you can use any colours that take your fancy and you can mix it up too! Creating this effect isn’t hard either these are the two ways that I’ve found most effective;

1 )   The straw; I usually pick about 5 – 7 different colours, depending on how adventurous I’m feeling. Then taking the same amount of straws I cut them just over half way. Once this is done it’s time to put a base coat on and then a base colour, I usually pick white as it makes the colours pop. Depending on how messy I’m feeling I will either carry on or put sticky tape around my nails and up my fingers to stop nail varnish getting everywhere!! You then simply dip the straws into each polish colour and blow through the straw onto your nail. Adding more colours each time!

2 ) The tooth pick; Using a tooth pick instead of straws is a less messy way of creating this effect but still really effective, you still need a range of colours, a base coat and a base colour. Then using the toothpick blob some colour onto a piece of paper, dip the toothpick into the polish and apply it to the nail in any way you like!

3 )  Add a topcoat to the nails after once they are dry to ensure your design stays put and shines! I would also highly recommend doing this design on a surface that can be protected well!!

I really love this effect and I have it on my nails a lot, just because it can be so versatile, using different colours, glitters and gems, and mixing the design up to match an event I like Halloween, or Christmas! It’s easy and you don’t need to be a good artist or professional nail painter either to get an amazing finish!

Have you got any nail polishes or designs that you love too? Let me know!

Carmex Lip Balm

Hey Guys!

My friends have been using Carmex lip products for a while now and they have always raved about how great it is has been for their lips and just how well the product works, so I finally went out and brought some for myself!

I went for the strawberry option as I love strawberries, plus they always remind me of summer! The product comes in a small yellow tube with a cute little red top, which is super handy when its in a bag and you need to look for it as it stands out! Not only does the product smell like real strawberries but the texture is smooth and you can tell its going to do your lips some good! When putting the product on it gives a tingling feeling which is something that I was surprised about at first but now I really love it! Not only does it give a shine to the lips after applying but leaves them moisturised, refreshed and protected!

This lip balm has really been a saviour for my lips, and I now use it a few times a day to keep them super moisturised! I really recommend this lip balm as it is simply brilliant!!

ASOS Jelly Coin Purse

Hey guys!

I adore anything that is cute, small or inspired by an animal so when I saw these beauties from ASOS I just had to tell you about them!

These coin purses are super sweet, both have a different animal inspired face; a blue bear and a pink cat. (How could you not instantly want these?!) Not only would they be great to keep all your loose change in, but would also be ideal for any other small items that need keeping in one place, like hair grips or even a small jewellery holder.

Both of these purses are going onto my wish list for this month without a doubt!!

Nails Inc Express Nail Polish Remover

Hey guys!

I am a huge nail varnish lover and wearer and you rarely see me without polish on, so when I found this magic bottle of wonder I was totally over the moon with it! I have used some of the Nails Inc Polishes before and fell in love with them straight away, and I now only use the Kensington Caviar top coat and base coat before putting colour onto my nails as I know the top quality and great finish that I will get! This bottle did not fail to impress me either!

With this product there is no need for cotton wool pads and a bottle of nail polish remover, its so simple. The handy little pot has ready soaked sponges of Nails Inc remover making it easy and quick to remove any polish. You simply dip your finger in and wriggle it around for a few minutes for normal colour polish. Ive also found that with any other sort of polish, like glitters I tend to let the nail soak for a minute or two then give it a wriggle to make sure its all off! A big plus is the size of the pot, being small it means you can take it anywhere with you as it fits neatly into a bag! One final thing the colour of this pot is amazing, how could I have resisted it?!

I simply love this product and I highly recommend this product to any nail polish wearer like myself!

Liz Earle - Cleanse and Polish

Hey guys, just a quick review on this wonderful product!

I have been using the Liz Earle range for a good three years now, and I can honestly say it has worked wonders for my skin, it is my ultimate skin care range that I treasure!

To start with the standard Cleanse and Polish comes in a neat handy tube bottle, with a simple pump action top; so you get the correct amount of product each time you use it, a small pea sized amount comes out and that is plenty for daily use! The smell is totally scrummy, a mix of calming rosemary and essential coco butter, which soothes and smooths the skin, the smell is to die for! (trust me!!) When pumped out the creamy product can be easily rubbed onto the face, I then usually leave it for a few minutes to let the goodness do its thing! Then with a Liz Earle Muslin Cloth gently wash it all off with warm water.

I use the product daily, in the morning and at night, it leaves my skin feeling soft, clean and glowing! It is also simply magic as it can remove any makeup that you may have been wearing during the day and you know that it is befitting the skin too!

As far as I'm concerned I am in love with this product, it has worked time and time again! I would never go back to my old skin care routine as this is just so fabulous!
